Hi, I'm Kyra!
I was born and raised in a small town around Cincinnati, Ohio and currently reside in Detroit, Michigan while attending and working at College for Creative Studies. I am currently in my fourth year working towards my BFA in Communication Design along with a minor in Photography.
I love combining the two disciplines and seeing the two combined to create full pieces of work since both can be so powerful. My biggest love has come by chance which has been anything related to UI/UX and coding. I have been coding on and off since 2014 but have only developed the skill to the point it is at now recently. Every step of the way in developing and discovering what UI/UX can mean and accomplish has been some of the most exciting and rewarding challenges I have been able to experience while in college.
Outside of design I have a deep love for anything video game related from my dad always playing Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker with me when I was young and my mother introducing me to Animal Crossing around the same time. I am also an avid soccer fan and former player. Go FC Cincinnati!

Working with and around residents living on campus to ensure they have the best time they can while in their shared living environment along with working in the housing office. This position also includes mediating conflicts, coordinating events, problem solving issues and maintaining community to ensure a thriving environment within the residential halls.
Worked as a mentor, lead mentor and assistant for high school aged students during the summer while they continued their education. This job included problem solving, managing and creating events, heavy communication and teaching experience.
Managing day to day tasks within the housing office to ensure residents living on campus have access to resources that they need. This position also includes organization, problem solving, bookkeeping and attention to detail.
