Snooze The News

This project is an interactive experience that visualizes and reflects on our relationship with news and media consumption. We started by tracking the media we consumed over a set span of time and translated it into the present experience. It is a stanch reminder on just how frequently and subconsciously we interact with and consume media throughout the day. The experience highlights how information overload has become a near constant presence in our lives, often blurring the line between staying informed and becoming overwhelmed.

Through immersive design and data-driven storytelling, the project aims to prompt users to reflect on their habits and consider psychological and emotional impacts of their constant media exposure. It doesn't seek to shame consumption but to create awareness.
